Stallion star Rivers recognized for her versatility on the court

We are pleased to announce that Keiarra Rivers, a standout graduate student of NAU, has received an exclusive invitation to the Eurobasket.com 2024 Women’s Final 4 Showcase in Cleveland. This prestigious event, slated for April 5th to April 7th at Cleveland State University, is tailored for exceptional players like Rivers who aspire to pursue overseas opportunities upon concluding their collegiate careers.
Over the years, the Eurobasket.com showcase has served as a launching pad for numerous female athletes, facilitating 311 signings with professional teams. Notably, 48% of last year’s placements comprised Non-NCAA D1 players, underscoring the platform’s inclusivity and effectiveness in propelling talent to the next level.
Standing tall at 5’9″, Rivers has been a formidable presence throughout the season, demonstrating her versatility as a Guard/Forward. Across 28 appearances, including 27 starts, she has showcased her scoring prowess, averaging an impressive 18 points per game. Rivers’s exceptional shooting percentages further underscore her skill, boasting a remarkable field goal percentage of .509 alongside a three-point percentage of .400. Moreover, her defensive contributions have been invaluable, tallying 42 steals and 28 blocks, cementing her reputation as a well-rounded player. She was also selected First Team All Red River Athletic Conference for the 2023-2024 women’s basketball season.
The Eurobasket.com showcase promises an enriching experience, featuring practice sessions, two full games coached by professionals, film analysis, comprehensive statistical breakdowns with advanced analytics, and informative sessions elucidating the pathway to professional play overseas. Participants have the flexibility to attend one, two, or all three days of the event, ensuring accommodation for those engaged in concurrent activities such as the WBCA So You Want To Be A Coach Program.
