Regalia Orders

If you are planning on attending the Graduation (Commencement), which means you are choosing to be a part of the Ceremony where you will wear your regalia (cap and gown), walk across the stage, and receive your diploma in front of family and friends you will need to purchase your regalia. Please contact Bob Cochran at 469-688-9127, or bob@everythinggraduation.com. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Student Affairs Office at studentlife@na.edu. Please NOTE: The Registration Deadline to attend Commencement will be announced soon.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the time and location for the commencement rehearsal?
We are planning to have a commencement rehearsal. We strongly recommend you attend the rehearsal to have a successful and seamless Commencement Ceremony. Details will be shared soon

2. Is there going to be another rehearsal for the commencement?
No, there won’t be another rehearsal. If you miss the rehearsal, you will be provided with instructions before the ceremony.

3. I have a GPA that is eligible for the honors cord. Do I have to purchase the cord myself?
Yes, if you have an eligible GPA, you have to buy the cord yourself.

4. Do we have to buy graduation items from Bob Cochran?
No, you don’t have to buy graduation items from him. However, you are required to wear a cap and gown at the ceremony. Therefore, you can purchase them from anywhere online/in-store as long as the color matches.

5. What color should my Master hood be?
Below are the hood colors for Master programs:
Computer Science: Yellow
Business: Drab
Education: Light Blue

North American University proudly celebrated 353 Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates from the 2023-24 academic year. The Commencement Ceremony, held on May 11 at the Stafford Centre, welcomed around 120 graduates and over 800 guests.

This milestone event marked the first graduating class of the Criminal Justice program, showcasing NAU’s growth. The ceremony featured an inspiring keynote by business and philanthropy leader Mr. Riaz Siddiqi and welcomed distinguished guests, including university presidents from the Annual International Conference.

Dear Stallions,
NAU understands that graduation is an incredible milestone and should be celebrated by graduates and their loved ones.During these uncertain times of travel restrictions and social distancing, NAU hosted a virtual, live-streamed commencement ceremony on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 for graduates from the 2019-2020 academic year (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020) as well as Fall 2020 graduates.

2017 COMMENCEMENT
The President, Provost, Faculty & the Graduating Class of North American University were overjoyed with the turnout of the Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony.

 

It was a momentous occasion as this was the first commencement after the university moved its campus to Stafford, TX. This ceremony was held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square.
