We are writing to address the recent decision to close our football program, a decision that has understandably caused disappointment and concern among many of you. We want to take this opportunity to provide more context, share our action plan for those affected, and reaffirm our commitment to the future of North American University.

First and foremost, we acknowledge that the initial announcement may have felt abrupt. We recognize the importance of transparency and empathy in these moments and want to assure you that this decision was made with great deliberation, always keeping the long-term goals and financial sustainability of our university in mind.

Support for Affected Students and Staff

We remain committed to supporting our student-athletes, coaches, and staff during this transition. The following steps are being taken to ensure they receive the necessary support:

• Academic Support: Student-athletes will continue to receive academic resources, including personalized advising and tutoring services, to help them stay on track with their studies.
• Scholarship Continuation: All current athletic scholarships will be honored through the completion of the current semester. Students should consult with their academic advisors for more details.
